Engineering Executive

Innovator. Leader. Engineer.

The engineering profession has proven to be an ideal training ground for managers and leaders capable of shaping a sustainable world. Engineers enjoy a highly-respected profile and are sought after for leadership roles.

The EngExec post-nominal immediately communicates the well-earned prestige of those leading at the highest tier of their industry. It builds on the respect and recognition accorded to the Chartered post-nominal CPEng, CEngT and CEngA. Chartered status is not a prerequisite for EngExec.

Through its College of Leadership and Management, Engineers Australia has developed an Engineering Executive framework based on 10 competency areas. For many practitioners the EngExec competencies marks a transition to leadership roles whilst for others it will complement technical engineering careers.
