Division Committees and College Boards

Following the close of nominations on 28 July, eligible Division Committee and College Board candidates will be contacted by the Returning Officer to advise whether the relevant election is to be held and which vacancies will be filled uncontested.

Board Directors candidates will be contacted by the chair of the Board Directors Nominations Committee, advising of selection for the initial shortlist.

OPENS: 9.00AM AEST MONDAY 4 SEPTEMBER 2017


CLOSES: 5.00PM AEST FRIDAY 29 SEPTEMBER 2017

One week before voting opens on Division Committee and College Board elections, candidate statements and photos will be placed on the Engineers Australia Elections web site to give visibility to the elections and so that voters know who the candidates are.

For positions where no election is required and where the candidates are automatically elected, candidate statements and photos will also be uploaded to the web site to profile the elected office bearers.

The voting process for Division Committee and College Board elections will be administered exclusively by BoardRoom Pty Limited.

Voting instructions will be emailed to the preferred email address of all eligible members or posted to those eligible members who do not have a valid email address.

Division Committee and College Board election outcomes are provided directly to the Returning Officer by BoardRoom Pty Limited. The Returning Officer then declares election results and notifies candidates of the results. Election results are also announced at Division annual meetings.

Board Director outcomes will be declared at National Congress in Melbourne on 21 November 2017.

Following the close of nominations on 13 September, eligible UK Chapter Committee candidates will be contacted by the Returning Officer to advise whether the relevant election is to be held and which vacancies will be filled uncontested.

OPENS: 9.00AM (BRITISH SUMMER TIME) WEDNESDAY 20 SEPTEMBER 2017


CLOSES: 5.00PM (BRITISH SUMMER TIME) FRIDAY 29 SEPTEMBER 2017

The voting process for the UK Chapter Committee elections will be administered exclusively by BoardRoom Pty Limited.

Voting instructions will be emailed by BoardRoom Pty Limited to the preferred email address of all eligible members or posted to those eligible members who do not have a valid email address.

UK Chapter Committee election outcomes are provided directly to the Returning Officer by BoardRoom Pty Limited. The Returning Officer then declares election results and notifies candidates of the results. Election results are announced at Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 4 October 2017.
